Pick-up Times

• Saturday, August 1: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

If you are unable to pick up your race kit in advance, it will be available at the registration table on race day. However, participants are encouraged to pick up their kits early, as they contain important race information.

• 9 a.m. – Registration opens
• 9:30 a.m. – QCX Midway 5K Run/Walk begins
• 10 a.m. – Free Pancake Breakfast presented by SaskMilk

• Enter through the Elphinstone Street Gate at REAL District.
• The registration table will be located in Confederation Park.
• Security will allow registered race participants access to the grounds before the fair opens.
• Please note that spectators must remain outside the fairgrounds until the Pancake Breakfast begins at 10 a.m.

The 5K course winds through the QCX Midway, Mosaic Stadium, the surrounding neighbourhood, and Confederation Park.

A course map will be available soon.

Course Hazards

The course travels through Mosaic Stadium, parking lots, sidewalks, and the QCX grounds. While there are no stairs on the course, participants will encounter ramps with gradual inclines in Mosaic Stadium, as well as uneven surfaces throughout the route.

As the course passes through an active fair site, temporary infrastructure may also be present, including:

• Power cables
• Water lines
• Utility covers
• Other event-related equipment

Please watch your footing, remain aware of your surroundings, and leave enough space between yourself and other participants to safely navigate any obstacles.

Severe Weather

In the event of severe weather, follow the directions of event staff and seek shelter in the nearest publicly accessible building if instructed to do so.

The QCX Midway 5K is a fun run that welcomes participants of all ages and abilities!

Please be courteous to everyone on the course by:

• Being mindful of runners and walkers at different speeds.
• Giving participants using wheelchairs or mobility devices plenty of space.
• Never pushing or assisting someone in a wheelchair unless they have asked for help.
• Watching for younger participants and families throughout the course.

Cross the finish line to receive your commemorative race medal before heading to Confederation Park for the Free Pancake Breakfast presented by SaskMilk.

After breakfast, stick around and enjoy everything QCX has to offer. The midway opens at 12 p.m., with rides, entertainment, agricultural exhibits, family attractions, food, and more.

Will there be a bag check?
No. Bag check will not be available.

Will there be water available?
Yes. A water station will be available approximately halfway through the course, and additional water will be available following the race during the Pancake Breakfast.
