Your community’s winter experience
We kindly request that all visiors register online ahead of arrival. This helps us manage capacity limits (215 people per session) without having to abruptly interrupt the fun for participants. There is a $5 fee per person required for skaters only. This fee helps us cover the costs of maintaining our facility winter-long.
Don’t forget to check out our aprés-skate SGI Chalet, a special place with cozy seating, for snacks during the day or one of our signature cocktails in the evening!
Skate Rental
Real has partnered wtih Extreme Hockey to offer skate rentals for kids and adults. The rental facility can be found just outside of the SGI Chalet.
Rental fee = $6/pair

Yup! Our partnership with Extreme Hockey also provides skate sharpening services at Iceville.
Hours of Operation
REAL District is centrally located, just minutes from downtown Regina and the Regina International Airport, which makes it the perfect location for events. The property is also located on a City of Regina bus route. Learn more about transit service.
Registration Cancellation and Closures due to Weather
It’s not secret but sometimes, Saskatchewan can get really cold in the winter. The threshold for keeping Iceville open on any particular day is -20 degrees. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of REAL’s guests.
If weather, ice conditions, or other circumstances beyond REAL’s control require the closure of Iceville and the cancelation of your booking, REAL will issue a refund for the ticket(s).
Guests are welcome to re-book their ticket(s) for another day (depending on capacity).
